As the Medical Director of the Center for Nutrition and Preventive Medicine, Dr. Klingsberg strives to offer comprehensive family and preventive medicine services.
He has extra training in nutrition and dietary therapies, and seeks to offer an array of alternatives that other physicians do not offer.
Dr. Gary Klingsberg Experience
Dr. Klingsberg attended Columbia University and earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and his master’s degree in nutrition.
He obtained his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Klingsberg is Board Certified in Family Practice, Preventive, Occupational, and Environmental Medicine.
He was an American Medical Association Joseph A. Goldberger Scholar in clinical nutrition at Harvard’s New England Deaconess Hospital.
At the New York College of Osteopathic Nutrition, Dr. Klingsberg is an Associate Professor of Public Health and Preventive Medicine and past Chairman of Clinical Nutrition.
At the Obesity Research Center at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York, Dr. Klingsberg conducted research on human eating behavior and published work on his findings.
Dr. Klingsberg maintains hospital privileges at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, and he is a member of several national and local medical societies.
